Official Newsletter of the Keauhou-Kona Yacht Club
JANUARY, 2012
ALOHA FROM YOUR COMMODORE:
HAPPY NEW YEAR from Commodore Terry, the Board and all the officers of KKYC! We wish you and your families love, health and happiness for the New Year and years beyond.
A special thanks to all those who worked so hard to make our Christmas Party a very "Merry" occasion! The food, fellowship, music and decorations were truly amazing.
As for the reconstruction of our facility, we are still waiting for the Sheraton's architect's to make the final minor modifications to the plans and specifications. It is everyone's expectations to make an application for the appropriate building permits and then solicit bids to construct.
Please join us on Friday, January 13th to welcome our 2012 Board member and Officers and to thank all those who served us in 2011.The change of watch, sometimes referred to as the Black and White Ball, will feature Chef Arthur on the carving Board serving his famous Prime Rib, cut to order before your very eyes.Music by the popular and dynamic music group of Bosco and Company will provide entertainment for all of us to enjoy.
I personally want to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to each and every member, the Board and the Officers who continually support me and the Club as we go through the challenges of getting back to our home on the Bay.We will survive!!!
Your 2012 Commodore, Terry
